RSC Annual Conference 2024

2024 Rhodesian Study Circle Conference
Thursday 9 – Sunday 12 May, 2024

  • The official RSC Conference Dinner on the Saturday evening will be “The Colin Hoffman Celebration Dinner”. This is in recognition of a lifetime of collecting, researching and writing on Rhodesian philately and for his committed guidance of the RSC over the past forty years as Editor of the RSC Journal (1978- 1991 and 2009-2011), Chairman of the RSC (1988-2019) and Treasurer ( 2020-2023).
  • On the Thursday afternoon, as in recent years, there will be a number of informal workshops and discussion groups.
  • As usual, a number of dealers will be present at the Conference. Dealer’s tables will open from 9am on the Friday morning.
  • Accommodation Rates:

Thursday – Single Occupancy Bed and Breakfast @£115.00, Double Occupancy Bed and Breakfast @£125.00.

Friday – Single Occupancy Dinner, Bed and Breakfast @£115.00, Double Occupancy Dinner, Bed and Breakfast @£145.00.

Saturday – Single Occupancy Dinner, Bed and Breakfast @£130.00, Double Occupancy Dinner, Bed and Breakfast @£160.00.

  • Narendhra Morar is arranging the Conference Programme and various drafts will be placed on the RSC website – narendhra.m123@gmail.com
  • The RSC AGM will be held on the Friday of the Conference. The RSC Council will meet prior to the AGM.
  • The 2024 RSC Competitions will be featured at the Conference and the results announced.
  • Virtual facilities will be available.
  • The RSC Conference Quiz has been compiled by Stuart Ross, Adam Goulding, David Spivack, Walter Herdzik, Allan Rendall and Narendhra Morar.
