On the 14th February, 1966, Australia introduced Decimal Currency. The first decimal stamp issues featured the monarch on the lower values and on the base domestic letter rate (4c) and the remainder featured Australian birds, Australian marine life, and early Australian maritime explorers
This exhibition will coincide with the Hobart Stamp Show 2016 on 17th November, 2016. More information can be found on the event’s website.
