1960 – Queen Mother Royal Visit

11-30 May 1960

There appeared to be two purposes for this tour, as far as Southern Rhodesia was concerned, and that was the official opening of Kariba Dam and the Hydro-electric Scheme, as well as the opening of the Central African Trade Fair.

The visit to the Federation of Rhodesia & Nyasaland was from 11^th to 30^th May, 1960.
