Amarsi Vithaldas Port Herald Amarsi Vithaldas (b.1880) arrived in Nyasaland in 1908 and settled in Port Herald. In 1910, he began trading as a general dealer. In 1915 he opened a wholesale business in Blantyre as an importer. The business eventually opened multiple stores across Nyasaland and became a large landholder. FB
