Tobacco Sales Floor

Tobacco Sales Floor

Salisbury

Tobacco Sales Floor opened in 1958 in competition with Tobacco Auctions Limited and Tobacco Producers Floor.

From 1983 through to 1994 TSF, having advanced to a monopoly situation, handled the entire Zimbabwe flue-cured crop. During that period, world demand led to rapid and ongoing expansion of the crop size.

TSF moved to the present facility in 1986, and, with the capacity to trade over 2 million kilograms daily, has consolidated the reputation as one of the world’s largest and most efficient market places.
