ROYALPEX 125
A Special feature of MELBOURNE 2017, was the non-competitive exhibition involving at least 200 frames for members of the Royal Philatelic Society of Victoria.
The occasion marks the Society’s 125th Anniversary and continues a traditional of non-competitive exhibits for the RPSV’s centenary (1992) and 75th anniversary (1967).
Rhodesian Study Circle
The RSC held a meeting on Saturday, 1st April.
The following members exhibited:
- Paul Peggie – Mission Mail in Central Africa (8 frames)
- Rod Kantor – Northern Rhodesia – “The 1963 definitives” (1 frame)
- Rod Kantor – Zimbabwe 2002 – 2010 – “Inflation in the 21st Century” (5 frames)
- George Stewart – Southern Rhodesia King George VI Definitive: The King’s Head Design (8 frames)
- John Shawley – Nyasland Postal History (1 frame – non competitive)
- Emil Minaar – Airmails of the Rhodesias and Nyasaland until 1941 (5 frames)
