The Matabeleland Trading Association Ltd were importers of general merchandise including jewelry, clocks and watches. It was also the first Jewish owned kaffir-truck wholesaling organisation. One of the founders was Jewish Londoner, Jack Goldberg who was also managing director of the Manchester Trading Co Ltd.
