On 15th November, 1912, Mashonaland Consolidated (1909) Ltd was reconstructed, and amalgamated with the Rhodesian Mining and Finance Co Ltd as Mashonaland Consolidated (1912) Ltd.

The original capital was 5s and shareholders in Mashonaland Consolidated (1909) Ltd were offered one share credited as 4s paid for every fully paid 5s share held, and shareholders in Rhodesian Mining and Finance Co Ltd, four shares credited 4s paid for each £1 share held.

By this time, the company held:

  • 72 claims in the Hartley District
  • 1,970 acres in Mazoe Valley
  • mining rights over 50,000 acres (known as Moore’s Concession in the Mazoe District)
  • two town stands in Salisbury, and
  • 164,075 fully paid ordinary and 164,075 deferred shares in Rhodesia Consolidated Ltd.
