Mount Darwin District
Originally the Chin Reef, Chin Mine began producing in 1906 and was one of the earliest gold mines in the Mount Darwin District.
After sitting idle for a number of years, between 1919-1920 the mine was re-opened. A new road was laid and water pipes laid from a spring in Mount Darwin to provide drinking water.

Agency under Mazoe with a mail service by runner to Bindura.
- 1909.09.14 – Opened as a Telegraph Office.
- 1912.04.27 – Regraded as a Post and Telegraph Agency.
- 1917.05.07 – Closed.
